OpenRCT2 for Linux

OpenRCT2 is a free, open-source version of the classic amusement park game RollerCoaster Tycoon 2.

It works on Linux and lets players build and manage their own theme parks.

In the game, you design rides, add shops, and take care of park facilities.

Your goal is to keep guests happy while making money and keeping your park’s reputation high.

This game offers two main modes: scenario and sandbox.

In scenario mode, you complete specific challenges within a time limit.

Sandbox mode lets you build freely with fewer rules and no money limits, giving you more control over your park’s layout and features.

OpenRCT2 adds many improvements to the original game.

It includes options to change the look of the user interface, speed up gameplay, and even play with friends online through multiplayer.

The game also uses OpenGL for better graphics performance and supports multiple languages with improved translations.

It has helpful features like auto-saving your progress and capturing giant screenshots.

Plus, it fixes bugs found in the original RollerCoaster Tycoon 2.

To play OpenRCT2, you need to have the original RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 or RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic game files.

This means you must own one of those games before using OpenRCT2.

Overall, it is a safe and enhanced way to enjoy your favorite roller coaster and amusement park simulation on Linux.
