Alien Arena for Linux

Alien Arena is a fast-paced first-person shooter (FPS) game made for Linux platforms.

It mixes classic deathmatch gameplay, like you might find in games such as Quake III and Unreal Tournament, with fresh and unique features.

The game offers colorful, arcade-style sci-fi settings that give it a retro feel, making the experience both fun and visually engaging.

This game fits well with users who enjoy multiplayer shooters with an old-school vibe but want something updated.

Alien Arena also includes original ideas that help it stand out from other arena shooters.

You can play alone or join others in action-packed matches.

Daily Capture The Flag (CTF) games happen on the AAOCS server, usually between 19:00 and 23:00 UTC.

However, there are some points to consider before playing.

Alien Arena uses the older xorg windowing system on Linux, which may lead to compatibility problems with newer hardware or software.

Additionally, because it uses system and input methods that can be risky, the game is marked as "Potentially unsafe." Users should be cautious and ensure their system is protected.

For multiplayer help or to find players, Alien Arena relies on community platforms such as Discord, Matrix, and IRC.

You can find more information and join the community at alienarena.org.

Overall, Alien Arena offers a mix of classic and new gameplay for Linux users looking for a colorful, retro sci-fi shooter experience.
