Shooting Pactris for Linux

Shooting Pactris is a cooperative game designed for Linux that combines elements from Tetris, Pacman, and shoot’em up (shmup) games.

It offers a unique multiplayer experience where players work together to manage different tasks in the game.

Each player controls a different character, such as Pacman or a spaceship, and they must cooperate to clear falling Tetris pieces that attack the ship while avoiding ghosts chasing Pacman through a maze.

The game supports local multiplayer with keyboard and gamepad controls, making it easy for friends to play together on the same computer.

In addition, there is a network option that allows players to connect and play cooperatively over a local network or the internet.

This setup encourages teamwork and communication as players handle separate challenges but aim for the same goal.

Shooting Pactris fits well for users interested in retrogaming and classic game styles like Tetris, Pacman, and shmup genres.

The blend of these gameplay elements creates a distinctive mix that appeals to fans of old-school games looking for a fresh multiplayer experience.

However, there is no specific information about single-player mode, so it may be best suited for players with friends or connections to join.
