Unnamed SDVX Clone for Linux

Unnamed SDVX Clone is a music rhythm game designed for Linux, with support for Windows and macOS.

It is based on the popular games K-Shoot MANIA and Sound Voltex, offering a similar gameplay experience.

The game uses KShoot charts version 1.6 (*.ksh), which limits the charts you can play but still provides fun and functional gameplay.

Players can enjoy scoring, saving local scores, and autoplay options.

The game features a completely skinnable graphical user interface (GUI), so users can customize its look to their liking.

Audio streaming supports OGG and MP3 files, with preloading that helps improve gameplay performance by reducing lag.

It also supports real-time sound effects and an older sound effects system, allowing for flexible audio experiences during play.

There is a song database cache using sqlite3, which makes starting the game much faster.

The database also includes a song search feature to help find tracks quickly.

The user interface for song selection includes controls to change settings like HiSpeed, making it easier to adjust difficulty and gameplay preferences.

While the game supports basic controllers with customizable key mapping, it does not fully support advanced input devices, which might be a drawback for some users.

Additionally, there are no online multiplayer or community features mentioned.

Overall, Unnamed SDVX Clone is a safe and flexible option for Linux and cross-platform users who want a customizable and smooth music game experience without complex setup.
