AdwSteamGtk for Linux

AdwSteamGtk is a tool for Linux users who want Steam to match the look of their desktop using the Adwaita theme.

It works by installing and updating the Adwaita-for-Steam skin automatically, so Steam feels like a natural part of your system.

This software is easy to use.

After setting up your skin preferences, just click the “Apply” button and then restart Steam.

When you start your computer, AdwSteamGtk checks for updates to the skin and lets you know if there is a new version.

To update the skin, apply the changes again and restart Steam once more.

One important thing to note is that Steam needs to be restarted twice for the changes to fully take effect.

Also, if you want Steam to have rounded window corners like other parts of the GNOME desktop, you must install the “Rounded Window Corners” GNOME extension separately, since this feature is not included in AdwSteamGtk by itself.

AdwSteamGtk only works on Linux and does not support Windows or other operating systems.

It is a useful utility for Linux gamers who prefer consistent design and want Steam’s interface to blend in with the Adwaita GTK theme naturally.

The app’s simple configuration and automatic updates help keep the skin current without extra work.
