Stretch Break
Reminds you to take regular breaks
(Stretch Break is still maturing. If you run into an issue, feel free to report it on GitHub!)
Ergonomic support utility that regularly reminds you to take breaks from using your computer. Stretch Break aims to provide an alternative to tools like Workrave and Safe Eyes in a modern GNOME UI.
With Stretch Break you can:
- Get regular break reminders
- Automatically reset your time until next break when keyboard or mouse haven't been used for a while
- Snooze break reminders for a period of time or mute them completely
- Enable reading mode, where the time until next break doesn't reset
- Track how long you've been postponing your next break
Time until break and break lengths are configurable.
Stretch Break works best with its accompanying GNOME Shell extension installed, which will display time until next break in your system tray. The extension is available at: https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/8231/stretch-break-companion/
